It’s the longest word in the Spanish dictionary.

I told you not to read it, but you did (or tried to).

You might think it’s a coincidence, or that I’m playing dirty.

It’s not, in fact, the very fact that some things escape our impulses can condemn you, and that’s a problem.

 

Live by design or live by default

There are businesses that simply live more peacefully.

Their owners, their employees, and their clients.

Because they get zero complaints from their clients.

They charge much more and generate more sales.

They even have motivated employees and sell like crazy.

 

There are businesses like that.

That turn down clients who aren’t profitable, who cause problems.

These companies do whatever they want, and make extra profit that month, without even blinking.

Without changing their products, without spending more on advertising, without changing the structure of their business.

 

Meanwhile, other businesses, maybe they’re not doing badly.

But when they look at themselves, they see how they have to chase clients.

Lower their prices.

Do whatever the know-it-all client of the moment demands, telling them what to do when they are the experts.

Sometimes, God forbid, they even struggle to have two profitable months in a row…

 

Some of these businesses decide to shift to a situation where they finally take control.

Their prices go up, while they get more clients than ever.

Their quotes are accepted without much effort, without waiting weeks or months for a response.

Even the client who said they had to think about it ends up paying.

 

If you didn’t know businesses like that existed, or don’t believe it can be possible…

You’re simply not in the right moment for what I’ll say next.

These businesses that hit the nail on the head, who attract the best clients, the ones who pay the most and complain the least…

They achieve it with a very simple change.

And it’s by focusing in the right place.

That’s it, I assure you.

 

Among other things, I train sales teams mentally and spiritually to increase numbers without changing anything in the existing process.

Nothing.

For every project I accept, I raise the price (usually).
